Type 6 slings – also known as Reverse (RE) – are very popular slings that can be used in all three types of hitches (Vertical, Choker, & Basket). Reverse eye slings (RE) are built for rugged use.  Both sides of the body are protected with abrasion resistant Cordura to give longer life in rough applications.  The eyes of the type 6 slings can be turned inside-out to give a new wear resistance.  The 1 Ply, 2″ lightweight material and flexibility allows the sling to be quickly and safely handled.  1 Ply, 2″ width reverse eye slings can be made of nylon or polyester.  Custom sizes and applications (including wear pads, coverings, and tags) are made to order.  Please contact our experienced staff to help choose the right sling for your application.
