Demag Offset Gearboxes

Demag Offset (Type A) Gearmotors are available in nine gearbox sizes for foot, flange or universal mounting, or with torque brackets for shaft mounting. The A10 unit has a two-stage reduction, while the others are two-stage or threestage depending on the reduction ratio. Their compact dimensions make them ideally suited for travel applications or other installations where space is limited.

Gearboxes are designed to complement the high cycling capabilities of the Demag “Indrive” Va iable Speed Gearmotor, Conical Rotor Motors and Cylindrical Rotor Motors, as well as the Microspeed Drive unit.

The gearmotors are available with coupled motor connection for quick motor removal and replacement (standard for type KB motors) or with an economical motor mounted pinion direct connection (typical for Cylindrical Rotor Motors).

A large selection of output shafts in inch and metric sizes makes these gearmotors suitable for a wide range of applications.

Sizes A10 to A40 feature a vertically split, high-quality, die cast aluminum alloy gearbox housing which provides necessary rigidity while minimizing unit weight. A50 to A90 housings are cast iron also vertically split.
